Manuscript accepted! Our collaboration with Songtao Jia’s lab on Epe1 and how PKA activity affects Epe1 function. Remarkable discovery connecting potential environmental responses to changes in the epigenome!

Andres Herrera Tequia, a first year Biological Chemistry Graduate student spent two months with us focused on using biochemistry to investigate the molecular determinants of H3K9 methylation recognition by Swi6 and Swi6 like proteins.

September 2021

Manuscript accepted! A methods chapter on our favorite tethering strategies to investigate epigenetic mechanisms has been accepted. This chapter is an incredible collaborative effort between Melissa, Amanda and Ajay! Congratulations!
